There's a Reader in All of Us
What if there were no books?
Ten-year-old Lyla Lyte tries to use her imagination, but she doesn't
know how! There are no books in her hometown of Screenfield...only
tubevisions. After her mom tells her that Mayor Crinkle buried all of
the town's books, she's unable to keep the secret to herself. Desperate,
Lyla convinces her three best friends Samantha, Teresa and Nick to help
search for them. Instead of finding books, they find a mysterious seed.
Lyla takes the seed home and plants it in her backyard. When it grows
into a towering tree, Lyla stumbles upon the biggest surprise of her life!
Screenfield will never be the same!
